My fiancé and I are starting to consider our honeymoon in August 2027 so that we can budget accordingly for both our wedding and the trip.
The dream has always been a safari in Kenya with some beach time, but we are looking at 16k. Even if we go to Namibia or Tanzania it doesn’t seem to be much cheaper or we’d have to rough it more which you don’t really want to do on your honeymoon.
Another more affordable alternative is Borneo, and there are some nice beaches there too but I was wondering if we could then fly somewhere else for the beach element? Any recommendations? So many places are rainy that time of year but we have to go in August.
Any other ideas? We’ve done Bali and Sri Lanka already…
