Looking for a unique Honeymoon destination – No beaches

Hi everyone,

I’m getting married in August, and I’d love to go on my honeymoon in early September. I live in the Caribbean, so I’d like to go somewhere completely different—no tropical beaches or island vibes.

Italy is also out because I actually proposed to my fiancée during a trip to the Amalfi Coast, so I’d prefer to explore a new place.

I’ve been thinking about Egypt, but I’m worried I might be disappointed. Has anyone done a honeymoon there? Would you recommend it, or do you have other destination ideas that would offer something unique and memorable?

I’m open to nature, history, or cultural experiences—just something that feels special for a honeymoon.
