Hello!
Originally, my fiance and I planned to go on our honeymoon to Ireland in September of 2026, a year after our wedding this September. We were unexpectedly able to save a bunch of money on the wedding and might have a career change coming in the next year, so we've decided to take our honeymoon a couple weeks after the wedding! We're excited, but feel a bit overwhelmed by the planning process.
We'll have 10-14 days to travel from the West Coast of the US in early to mid October. We've heard that Galway>Dublin, and would love to drive down through the countryside also. If its not crazy, do we have the time to make it to Scotland? I've heard wonderful things about both Edinburgh and Glasgow, but I have no idea where to start.
Since this trip is being planned for about three months away, with little notice, while also planning a wedding, I'm coming here for some guidance lol. It'll also be my first time traveling internationally, and the first time for my fiance in about 7 years. Thanks all!
