Looking for suggestions for Europe in mid September

Hi all,

Me (32M) and my wife (32F) are looking to get married in early September with a plan to take a week's vacation in Europe.

She is looking for Albania and/or Croatia, I am thinking southern Portugal/Spain/France.

Does anyone have any suggestions for something relatively affordable, but also nice.
