Maldives honeymoon help

Greetings! I am wondering if a budget of $10k for a week trip in Maldives is doable. I have consulted with a travel agent and she keeps throwing some crazy quotes at me yet I have friends who went and seem to think $10k is sufficient. I am looking for an honest opinion

-We are looking to go in late November.

-I prefer that we don't need to use a seaplane. I know this will limit our options but it seems the the cost of seaplane transport is pretty expensive. From what I have researched there a few you can get to by boat?

-Villa over the water is what we are really hoping for

-Is all inclusive worth it ?

-Any recommendations on the resort or do's/dont's during the trip.

We are open to other areas of travel as long as it’s something tropical .
