May Honeymoon Recs-First Time International Travelers

Hi everyone! My fiance and I are getting married mid May and are hoping to head out on our honeymoon a few days after the wedding. We have never traveled outside of the US and Canada so we are a bit nervous about navigating around, but we would like to go somewhere out of the country. Our family has suggested to find somewhere all-inclusive to keep things really simple, but we don't drink and are not night life/party people so we're not sure all-inclusive would be worth it for us. We would really like to explore the area we end up in, so if we could find a low crime area that is easy to navigate and where English is somewhat widely spoken that feels like it could be a better fit for us (however we are open to all-inclusive recs as well)! We'd like to spend about $7-$8k total and would be flying out of NY. We are not party people at all and want romantic and relaxing vibes, ideally with a good mix of historical/cultural activities and beautiful scenery as well. Any suggestions???

Or does anyone have any general tips for first time international travelers? We feel so clueless lol.
