Minimoon recs for 2500?

My Fiancé and I are going to Scotland and Italy next may for 3 weeks. We are using most of our honeymoon savings for the trip, But we want to go somewhere right after our wedding for about a week.

We live in Georgia, So we have visited most southern states. I’m from Florida and visit often. We have been speaking about Bar Harbor Maine, And Washington. We love Canada but understand it’s not really feasible.

Sky scanner and hotel points allows for cheap flights and atleast half hotels covered. But I would love more insight on cost if anyone has visited those places and other destination recommendations as well! We looked into a norwegian cruise from NY – through maine into canada. But we love to have our freedom to wander and explore.

I know 2500 Is tight, But it’s what we have and we are willing to make the most of it!
