Hi!! My fiance and I are getting married in late October next year in New England and have been discussing honeymoon options for any time in late 2026 through 2027, hoping for recommendations! He doesn't want anything too cold, I don't want anything too hot. There's more nuance there but don't want to write a novel, haha. Would love an all inclusive resort somewhere that's generally be 50-80ish degrees during the day (though I know those are harder to find outside of beachy locales 🙁 ). We love the idea of guided excursions but also want something we can go out and explore on our own. We went to Edinburgh two years ago on a short family trip and LOVED it, if we can't decide on somewhere new we might go back to Scotland (but we want to try something new to both of us if we can!). I think an ~8- ~9 hour flight from Boston would be our distance limit. Some thoughts we've bounced around:
- Alaska- spring/summer (would love to cruise but he doesn't want to… said he said he may be open to a trip that is only partially a cruise)
- The Netherlands- spring/summer (I've been here and Alaska. Loved both but would like somewhere new)
- Switzerland- spring/summer
- Iceland- spring/summer
- Germany- Octoberfest 2027
