My fiancée and I are getting married September 27, 2025! We are wanting to have a low cost (<$5000 hopefully) honeymoon as we are trying to save for a house, so we have decided to stay in the US, though we are open to going to Canada or Mexico. The problem is, we can’t figure out where to go. We were planning on going to a beach, but we figured doing that in the middle of hurricane season might not be a good idea. Then we thought we could go to Banff, but a friend that lives in Canada said there’s possibility of snow then. We would like a place where we could hike, have a few museums, and give us time to relax. We want it to be somewhere we have never been before, but that mostly only takes our Arizona and the Smoky Mountains. Neither of us have been East or West coast much. What would be a good hurricane/ snow safe option?
