Hi y'all. My fiance and I just got engaged and I'm already thinking about our honeymoon. Looking for destination recommendations for hiking, scuba diving, biking, and lots of outdoor beauty. Ideally for about a 2 week honeymoon where we will not get bored, and a more mountainous place, not a tropical island honeymoon. I'm also concerned about us being comfortable as two women on our honeymoon, so I want to go somewhere as LGBT+ accepting as possible.
Originally my heart was set on us doing Iceland's Ring Road, but it seems like the driving gets tricky, there's not a lot of sun in late October. We're getting married on our anniversary so we can't just move the elopement up and move the honeymoon up in order to be in Iceland during the peak period, so I'm looking for other recommendations! We'll be eloping in upstate New York so we'll most likely fly out of NYC. I'm also considering New Zealand although flying from the east coast isn't ideal.
