Our wedding is October 11th, 2024 and we are absolutely stumped on honeymoon ideas. We're located in GA and would like to keep the travel within the US and under $5000.
We love the outdoors, hiking, mountains, caving, and exploring paths less traveled. We don't particularly enjoy beaches, bars, partying, etc.
My fiancé was hoping to go to Glacier & Yellowstone National Parks. However, a lot of the parks are shut down in this season, so we're second-guessing. We're also playing around with the idea of taking an Amtrak route and stopping in a few places along the way.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
