Overwater Bungalow Recs

Sorry for the very basic post, but I'm up to my eyeballs in chrome tabs researching honeymoon spots and wondering if you guys have any advice.

We're looking to do an overwater bungalow for either 1 or 2 weeks (is 2 weeks too long? Maybe depends how many activities are at the place?) in early December and our budget for accommodation is around $10-15k. Willing to spend more than that if we do 2 weeks, but want to be sure that we're actually getting a great experience and it's so hard to tell with so many options. Ideally it would be all inclusive but if it makes more sense to pay for drinks we're up for that as well.

Looking mainly at the Maldives and Bora Bora but open to other suggestions although we're hoping to branch away from Atlantic Ocean spots.

How do you guys narrow it down? It feels like there are so many to choose from. Anyone have amazing experiences at a place that they want to share?
