Places for couples to visit in July?

I am looking for a place to visit in July that is nice and not too expensive. I would prefer to spend anywhere from 1,000 to 3,000. I would like to go out the country but I can settle for a nice beach front location in the usa too. I’m not picky I just want my wife to enjoy her birthday month.
