Hi all,
My fiancee and I are getting married in September and we are planning a delayed honeymoon at the end of the year, reason for delay is so that we can go for longer. We plan to go for maybe just under 3 weeks, budget probably USD 10k max.
We are based in Southeast Asia, and not planning to go to North America. Typically we are the type of travellers that are always on the go but we want to be mindful that this is a honeymoon and wanna take more of a mixed approach with time to both relax and explore.
End of the year seems tricky because it's a busier time of the year and it's cold/rainy in many places, so some place we have thought will not seem to work such as Japan or Korea. Some places I have thought of:
– Maldives (although maybe this is too chill)
– Egypt / Morocco (maybe too hectic for a honeymoon)
– Middle East (UAE, Saudi, Jordan, etc)
– Italy / Spain / Portugal
– South Africa
– Australia (however this is too similar to North America, we want something different)
Would appreciate any input or recommendations! Thank you in advance.
