Planning honeymoon in South Africa – Iterniary feedback and suggestions?

Hey everyone!

I was planning our honeymoon trip to Swiss, but unfortunately our visas got rejected

Now, we are planning in South Africa for mid-August, and I’d love your thoughts on our itinerary. Here’s a high-level breakdown:

Day 1: Arrive in Johannesburg, Flight to Kruger

Days 2–3: Safari in Kruger

Day 4: Fly to George, Take a rental car, Drive to Mossel Bay

Day 5: Ostrich farm + Cango Caves

Day 6: Scenic drive to Cape Town

Days 7–9: Explore Cape Town + Cape Peninsula

Day 10: Fly back home from Cape Town

Stays: 3 nights in Kruger 2 nights in Mossel Bay 4 nights in Cape Town

We'll have a rental car to ourselves for 6 days, pickup at George Airport and drop off at Cape Town Airport).

We want to make sure we’re not missing any must-do activities or hidden gems in these areas. Any recommendations or tips (especially honeymoon-worthy experiences) would be really appreciated!
