Hello all. We wanted to run an idea by the community to see you all think.
Why: When going through the queue of reported posts it's sometimes tough to identify if a post should be removed. The rule that we have in place for no advertising sometimes is a bit fuzzy as at times the original poster(OP) has asked or solicited recommendations for travel agents. When we get reported comments it doesn't show the original post just the reported comment. This can lead to some miscommunication or comments getting removed when in reality it's exactly what the OP has asked for.
The idea: My thought is to add 2 post flair options 1) Travel Agent OK 2) No Travel Agents
I think in practice that will result in 3 options. If a post has no flair we will treat it as we do now and assume the OP is not ok with travel agent solicitation and remove any comments that break the advertising rule.
So Is this a good idea or do you see problems with the approach?
