Sandals St Lucia or Barbados

We are stuck between st Lucia sandals resorts (grande or halycon) or sandals Barbados (st Lawrence).

We enjoy a more party atmosphere (whether during the day or night). We also want to have our own privacy (we wouldn’t mind getting the less rowdy resort at st Lucia to be able to shuttle to the grande which is more busy).

It appears that Barbados resorts look nicer, the rooms seem better with plenty of amenities. St Lucia also seems to have more options.

Can anyone confirm their thoughts on either? Thanks!
