Secondary destination after week in Japan?

Hello all! My fiancé (31M) and I (28F) are currently planning our honeymoon for September-ish 2026. We have always talked of going to Tokyo, so we plan to spend about a week there tiring ourselves out and being true tourists. We have plans to go to Tokyo Disney as well. After, we'd like to go to a quieter, slower-paced destination where we can relax at a beautiful beach, eat delicious food, and chill out.

Our budget is about $22K. Do you have any recommendations for secondary locations? Can be in Japan or elsewhere. We are open to pretty much anywhere in the world. We plan to stay there for another 8-10 days. I should also say that I am not the biggest fan of Thai food, so I am hesitant to go to Thailand even though I know their beaches are gorgeous.

For context, we plan to stay at a Courtyard Marriott-like hotel while in Tokyo as we won't be in the hotel room that often. We'd really like to splurge on the second location and stay at a beautiful and relaxing hotel.
