My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon for right after our wedding the week of September 14, 2026, which is during hurricane season and obviously limits our location options.
We’re interested in Mexico because it’s out of the hurricane belt, but are overwhelmed by the choices. Looking for a chic, luxury boutique-style hotel/resort. We’re open to all-inclusive but it’s not a must. Stunning beach and pool are a must, and prefer not a ton of kids.
For reference, we would have loved to go somewhere like Cap Juluca in Anguilla, Sugar Beach in St. Lucia or Rosewood Little Dix, but again, we are limited in September. Moving the date isn’t an option because we really want to go right after the wedding to relax.
Or, if anyone has traveled elsewhere in the Caribbean in September that has a low hurricane risk, we’re also open to places outside of Mexico!
