Posted in here yesterday about recs outside the US, but given that we’d be flying out of season from a small airport to parts of the world that are also out of season, it would be a 3 flight minimum. So we’re changing course.
We’re thinking of doing a mini moon in the LA area right after our wedding on 9/20/25 and then a full blown honeymoon the following summer. We actually lived in LA for 4 years but don’t know anything about the good hotels and resorts.
We’re willing to go somewhere about max 1 hour from LAX. Santa Barbara is a bit far but we’re open to it. Looking for a wellness retreat vibe, no children is a plus. We want to do something super relaxing, ideally on the water. Budget is pretty flexible. No San Diego recs please as fiancés parents live there so we go there a lot.
