Hi guys, fiancé and i have settled on St lucia for our honeymoon and planning to spend early may on the island. We did some initial researching and choose Sugar Beach as our place based off the reviews but the more we think about it, the more concerned we get about the extra cost of food and drinks and how it could add up quick. Our other pick was Sandals Grande as it was cheaper and all-inclusive, we’re hoping to get some direction from you all and which choice might be better for us.
A bit about what we’re looking for: 1. Good mix of romantic and fun activites 2. Need something lively enough to not make us bored spending a day or two on the resort only. 3. Easy access to excursions 4. Good food and drinks (similar quality to what we could get in the states) 5. A place that is clean and well kept (doesn’t need to be fancy) 6. Entertainment on site 7. We don’t necessarily need a tranquil place thats super quiet and laid back, but aren’t really a fan of loudness and super packed places either.
