St Regis bora bora for anniversary

Hey all, looking for some advice. I have the Bonvoy brilliant car and have platinum elite status I booked business class flights with points for 5 night stay at the resort and have a couple options in booing the room.

I see standard OWB for the night paying cash would come to $12K

The other option I see is 602K points plus $3500

I currently about 35K points. I can purchase 210K points for $1800 I will also be getting my 185K bonus points soon for the brilliant card welcome offer I can also purchase 100k points on family accounts then transfer to me. So all in all it would cost roughly $3500 or so to get the 602K points plus an additional $3500 for the room. So all in all this route would cost around $7500 instead of the cash price of $12K.

The redemption plus cash option I do not see coming with breakfast but i would assume i get that being a platinum elite member.

It seems this route would be a no brainer, maybe a bit more work but seems worth it.

Is there something I’m missing here?? Any advice would be appreciated.
