Struggling with the vibe we want for our honeymoon

Getting married next year. Plan is to honeymoon late august/early September. We are struggling with what we want our vacation to look like. We are planning on going somewhere for about 2 weeks. Our current thoughts:

1) European tour: a few days in each country, sightseeing, amazing food Pro: never had a trip like this before, always wanted to go on one, lots of culture and history which we love Con:lots of coordinating travel in different countries can be difficult (we are not experienced travelers), more $$$

2) relaxed resort vacation: somewhere tropical, beach, sun bathing, drinks, relaxing Pros: relaxing, cheaper than Europe, still a fun vacation Cons: have had a trip like this before, fear we will get bored

3)something in between the two? Not sure what this would look like, looking for advice.
