Suggestions for Our 13-Day Spain Honeymoon Trip

Wifey and I are planning our honeymoon in Spain from 24th sept to 8th oct, and we’d love some suggestions and guidance!

Trip overview: Flying into Madrid Flying out from Barcelona Total trip length: 13 days

We want to spend quality time, not rush around too much.

Our interests: Beaches Fun nightlife & beach parties Casinos Great wine We’re vegetarian, so food recs with that in mind are a big plus.

Cities we’re considering (from our research):

Nerja – for its beach vibes and chill atmosphere Mallorca – looks like paradise! Barcelona – for the city-beach blend and energy Costa Brava – coastal charm and beauty

We’re really keen on visiting southern Spain, but a bit unsure about travel logistics and time management — especially considering distances between cities like Nerja and Mallorca.

Questions: How would you structure the itinerary for 13 days? Is it worth flying to Mallorca or better to stick to mainland Spain? Any tips for balancing beach time, wine, parties, and some romantic downtime?
