Suggestions for Ski Trip for December Honeymoon?

Hi everyone!

We have just begun the process of planning our honeymoon. We would really like to go skiing out West (USA) for 7-10 days in December. We are pretty open on the exact location. Ideally, we would like to go somewhere that won’t be super crowded and isn’t stupid expensive. We would love it if there are other activities in that location too (e.g. spa, dog sledding, yummy restaurants, snow mobiling, etc). Our budget is around $6000.

Is this feasible? Does anyone have any suggestions, recommendations, or favorite places?
