Tahiti Honeymoon October 2020. When should we start booking?

I know it’s over a year away, but we’re considering a honeymoon in Tahiti. We received a quote and were told to book soon, as October dates go fast. Is this a sales tactic or should we book sooner rather than later? Thanks!
