Thailand honeymoon costs?

Hi,

Wondering what people have spent on their Thailand honeymoons? We are looking at 10-12 days there. I know there are a ton of variables but just looking for some rough numbers from people who have been there on a honeymoon type of trip. Some relaxing, some exploring. Initial thoughts are that this trip will roughly 8k give or take coming from the US, is that reasonable? The time of year is flexible, in the very early stages of planning.
