Thailand + Singapore itinerary – does this make sense?

Hi!

I am planning my 2024 honeymoon and I am thinking of the following for my itinerary:

• NYC -> Singapore (2 nights)
• Singapore -> Chaing Mai (3 nights)
• Chaing Mai -> Krabi (or some southern island) (7 nights)
• Krabi -> NYC (by way of Dubai)

Are we missing out if we don't go to Bangkok and Chaing Rai? We've always wanted to go to Singapore (and there's a direct flight from NYC) but not sure if it would it be better to stay in Thailand the entire time.

Also let me know if there's anywhere that's a "must see" that I haven't mentioned!
