Thinking about a travel agent

Posted here before, looking for what a travel agent does? Is it worth it? Ive been to many bridal expos and met travel agents beforr but I've never planned a vacation longer than a weekend! Any advice on how to pick a travel agent /what to expect budget wise would be super helpful! (this is for our honeymoon) Do travel agents charge more for first timers and especially honeymoons?
