Thoughts on 6 day honeymoon to Amsterdam, NL!

Hey all, wanted your advice. I'm no seasoned traveler, so your tips will hopefully be what I need! We're doing an upcoming honeymoon to the Netherlands, mostly Amsterdam. This is our second time out of the country, so I'm preparing as much as I can. New shoes, ready to go passport, etc. is a must. I am looking for a good travel backpack.

I'm doing Duolingo for Dutch, however I acknowledge I will not be even a novice by October – this is also just on me having difficulties learning any language.

I did a lot of looking around from Google Maps, Reddit posts, looking at sites, and other things. My fiancé and I are going in early October, staying near Artis. Trying to get the things we both enjoy – a nice cocktail, fiance loves cats and animals, I want to go to the Red District (can't help being a tourist). We love smoking, and she loves the Beatles, hence the trip to Alkmaar for day five. I'm Dutch by blood, so I want to see where my ancestors lived for centuries, down south about an hour on day six. I know Day Three is stacked, but a lot of those things are pretty quick, and I believe we'll have time on most days for just walking around.

We're going to get a car for day five and six.

I plan on getting tickets for everything the end of August, where I'm hoping I'll be able to get Artis and the Anne Frank Museum tickets, which aren't available yet.
