Trip to Mexico or USA under $3000

Hello. I was looking for tips. We got married on December and still planning our honeymoon. Our first though was Playa del Carmen or Cancun. I already been to Cancun and visit xcaret twice but my wife hasn't, so that would be nice. Los Cabos and Chiapas was an option too. Not sure where in the US with our budget. California is our home, so we are familiar with San Diego. She is not a fan of long walks or uneven terrain cause of health' issues. Happy Monday
