Tropical honeymoon ideas for October? Once-in-a-lifetime trip 🌴💍

Hi everyone, we’re a couple from Germany getting married next year and are planning our honeymoon for October (mid/late month into early November). We’ll have about 2.5–3 weeks.

What we’re looking for: • Tropical, warm, paradise vibes • Little to no rain (this is where it gets tricky in October…) • Ideally a private pool villa / swim-up suite (doesn’t have to be ultra 5-star, but something special) • Beautiful beaches & turquoise water • Diving opportunities (I’m certified and would love to dive a few times) • A mix of relaxation and activities (not just stuck at a resort)

Destinations we’ve been looking at: • Maldives (dreamy, but October can still be rainy season, so we’re unsure) • Mauritius • Thailand (Samui/Koh Tao maybe?) • Philippines • Mexico (Riviera Maya, Cozumel) • Possibly South America if it fits the criteria

We’d love advice from people who traveled in October: Where would you go for a once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon? Any resorts or regions you’d recommend that balance romance + diving + good weather?
