Two weeks somewhere lively, fun, exciting

My fiancé and I have just come back from 2.5 weeks in Vietnam where we had the best time. We are now looking ahead to our honeymoon and where to go. I'd love to hear some fellow travel lovers opinions.

About us: – We live in London – We are thinking Asia or South America, we want somewhere that feels exciting and special, as well as hot weather – We loved the vibrancy of Vietnam and Hanoi especially, love the chaos of the city and don't want somewhere that is exclusively relaxed or quiet. We also like a few drinks and a bit of a nightlife. Street food is great. – We cannot drive – We aren't looking for super cheap but I'd rather it be cheaper than Europe once out there

Places we are considering Costa Rica – but some friends have said it's not great to visit anymore and that it's now "expensive" Japan – but I think this might be better as not a honeymoon? Especially as it'd be good to afford at least one or two bougie nights Mexico City – a recommendation for city vibe India – again, mixed opinions with friends

I've visited Bali and Sri Lanka recently (and loved) and he's been to Thailand before (loved) so those are off limits.

What places would people say are great for a couple of weeks? Would love to add new places to list or get opinions on my current list!
