Virgin Islands Honeymoon?

I'm wondering if anyone here has gone to the Virgin Islands. We are getting married in July and found tickets and accommodations in the Barbados in July to be super affordable. I know it's the rainy season there but it seems that daily showers are short and pass quickly and I don't mind that to save money. That got me looking at the nearby Virgin Islands which seem to be a pretty similar situation. I'm wondering if anyone has been here and knows if any of the Virgin Islands are similar? It seems that everything else on Barbados is pretty expensive year round so if there's a BVI or USVI that is worth visiting in July and potentially mkte affordable or quieter I'd love to know. Our budget right now is about $4000-5000. Thanks in advance!
