We really want to go to the Carribbean, specifically St Lucia, for our honeymoon (beginning of August). We recently learned that June-November is the rainy season in the Caribbean. If we’re splurging on this, I don’t want an even just cloudy trip.
However, I feel if we wait until Dec to take the trip, it will feel like just a vacation.
Thoughts? I’d love to do something the weekend after we get married, but my FH has limited PTO and we’re in the Midwest and have to fly to get anywhere cool.
TLDR; will waiting 4 months to take a honeymoon feel like a honeymoon?
