We don't know whether to cancel our trip and rebook somewhere in Europe (UK based) as we booked El Nido in Palawan for our honeymoon 22nd May – 5th June 2026 but looking at the weather that time of year (now) it looks awful. Online it says tail end of dry season so expect rain but hot so assumed we would get sun with the odd downpour.
We want a holiday with sun and the beach and fear we may have made a mistake booking Palawan. We can still get our money back. Is this year of solid thunderstorms abnormal or are we best not to risk the weather as it's not stable this time of year?
