What do I do with 17 days for a honeymoon? Bali only or Multiple countries?

My fiancé and I are flying out of the DMV, in October, for a 17 day honeymoon.

I’ve always wanted to go to Italy because I’m a huge foodie (Pescatarian) and I want to eat pasta and pizza all day.

We chose Bali because it’s way cheaper and it can be more relaxing, we have the PTO to go further.

In Bali, we’re looking forward to a beautiful hotel, cheap massages, wilderness and moving slower. A part of me wants a different vibe too.

Is 17 days too much for Bali? Should we do – Bali and other parts of Indonesia – Bali and Japan – Bali and Thailand – Bali and Italy (crazy I know) – Bali only
