I’m deep into planning 2 weeks in New Zealand and I’m slowly realizing the reality that this trip is likely going to cost $12-15k. I’m starting to have anxiety guilt that we should buy a house instead… but we’re skipping the wedding (courthouse) and I also beat cancer last year (in my 30s) so I’m trying to just convince myself I deserve this. It hurts to see the total creep though.
Anyone else want to share your budget, or what you spent, to make me feel better?
I’ll add in I think that final total will include 100% of expenses. Food, ubers, shopping, gas, boarding our dog for 2 weeks. It also includes some once in a lifetime activities like a 10 seater plane to boat through Milford sound and boating through icebergs. I know it’s worth it, but would love to know what’s the norm!!
