Where should I go for my honeymoon with a ₹3.5–4 lakh INR budget? Getting married in Dec 2025 — DIY vs Travel Agent?

Hi folks, I’m getting married in December 2025 and starting to plan our honeymoon early so I can book smart and avoid last-minute stress.

We’re looking at a budget of ₹3.5–4 lakhs (all-inclusive, for 2 people). That should cover flights, stay, food, and experiences. Duration would be 7–9 days max.

A few things: • Don’t want the usual destinations like Bali, Thailand, Malaysia — been there, done that. • We want something memorable, romantic, and a bit offbeat, but still scenic and safe. • We’re open to mountains, beaches, or cultural places, as long as it feels like a proper honeymoon. • Food-wise, we’re non vegetarian. • We don’t want a super-rushed trip hopping between 5 cities — 2–3 locations max is ideal.

My main questions: 1. Where would you recommend going within this budget? 2. Should I book it all myself (DIY flights + hotels + planning) or go with a trusted travel agent?
