Where to go after our safari in Kenya?

Hello! Advice needed!

My husband and I are planning our honeymoon trip in January 2026. We just got married Sept 6 this year!

So far we have a 7 day safari booked in Kenya. We are wanting to do a relaxing/beach vacation somewhere after that. We are coming from western Canada.

We were looking into Zanzibar quite a bit, but I'm nervous about the hagglers/scammers, the covering up shoulders/knees all the time, etc. Maldives seems too expensive, and the Seychelles and Mauritius are supposed to be rainy in January.

Looking for any advice or your own experiences to any of these destinations, or a different suggestion is welcome! We are flying through London on our way to Kenya, and then looking at going through Dubai on the way home and spending a few days there as well.
