My husband and I are planning a trip for early next year for the honeymoon we never had (thanks, COVID). We’re looking at all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and are overwhelmed by all the options. Looking to go for about 5 days, keeping it <$5000, including flights out of NY. Another catch is that we won’t know exact dates we can go until January 2026 so this booking would be very last minute, we would need to book January 2026 and go sometime within the next 3 months.
Things that are important to us: -good food -private balcony/outdoor space -would love a plunge pool or jacuzzi but think that’s not realistic -Relaxation but also options for snorkeling, water sports, etc
Places we are not interested in -Jamaica -Dominican republic -Bahamas -Mexico
The more I look, it seems January-February are peak season for the Caribbean. Would we be better off waiting for a different time of year? Any input is welcome!!
