My soon-to-be husband and I are planning a 12-night honeymoon in Mallorca from the end of Sept to the first week of Oct and are struggling with how to split our trip. We don't really enjoy packing and unpacking, so want to limit our stay to just two hotels (we'll rent a car). We're trying to decide whether to spend the first half of the trip (5-6 nights) in/around Deia or Palma. We're thinking of Santanyi for the second half so we can explore all the beaches on the east coast.
We like the idea of not having to drive around the island for dinner every night (maybe just a few nights) and have the option to walk home after dinner (assuming there are good places to walk to).
Trying to keep hotels under $700 a night. We love food, history, culture, exploring, but also want ample time to relax — it's our honeymoon afterall! Any hotel suggestions/how we should split things?
