Where to stay in Franschhoek?

Visiting South Africa for our honeymoon early next year. Doing the garden route drive from PLZ to CPT with safari, Plett Bay, shark diving, wine region and finishing in Cape Town.

The only part of the trip we are struggling with where to stay is Franschhoek. We flip between staying in the town and staying on an estate, ideally on a vineyard.

Budget: 10-12k ZAR per night. Would stretch it place is worth it.

Below is our Franschhoek itinerary (high level) which may help with any suggestions. This is based on staying at Boschendal which I’m unsure of. Would love to stay at Babylonstoren but it’s out of our budget.

Day 1: Drive to Franschhoek Walk around the town and have lunch – Arkeste Wine tasting at Chamomix Check in and wander around Boschendal Farm Dinner at Boschendal

Day 2: Orange Line. Noble Hill & Bacco wine tasting Lunch at Babylonstoren Dinner Protege.

Day 3: Hike/cycle Lunch at The Orangie Le Lude Sparkling wine tasting at Le Lude Wine tasting at Haute Cabriere Dinner at La Petite Colombe.
