Where to stay in Mallorca?

Hi! My husband and I are going on our honeymoon in May 2026. We’re currently planning to spend 3 nights in Barcelona and then fly over to Mallorca. We think we want to stay in Port de Soller for 2 nights and then in Santanyi for 4 nights.

The question is, should we reconsider staying in Port de Soller? We want things to do, great food, but don’t need a ton of hustle and bustle since we would’ve just come from Barcelona.

Would Soller (in town) or Palma be better for the first couple nights instead? We’re pretty set on staying at Can Ferrereta in Santanyi, and are flexible otherwise re pricing for hotels.

Lastly, we want to avoid renting a car. Is that doable? Thanks!
