12 days in France

Hi all, my fiancé and I are hoping to honeymoon in France next year. It will likely be in late-May. From your knowledge, is it logistically feasible to spend some time in Paris and in the French Riviera over the course of a 12-day trip? Can I see Versailles and Cannes in the same trip? or is this a fairytale where I have a lot more money and more than 12 days?

We’d be flying in from the U.S., and are fortunate to have airfare covered by credit card miles. With airfare covered, we’d probably have $6-$8K (US) to spend on the trip.

I’ve never been to Europe let alone planned an international vacation, so I don’t know what I don’t know.

I’d appreciate any tips you can offer!
