$12,000 blank slate

I am at a loss at where to even begin.

We are looking to plan a honeymoon sometime in the next 12 months for approx. 6-8 days.

Our budget is around $12,000 USD.

Flying out of Midwest.

We are 30-years old. Somewhat adventurous and PADI certified.

I am more a beach and nightlife person.

My wife is more an excursion type person.

So looking for a blend of great weather, decent food/nightlife, and activities.

I appreciate your advice and welcome any questions that would help you make recommendations.
