$4-5k Honeymoon Tips and Ideas!

Hi there! My fiancé and I hope to honeymoon June 10-24th, 2024, and have a flexible budget of $4k including flights… please tell me if this is unrealistic!

We've never left North America, so we're interested in: (order of preference)

1. Europe (particularly Croatia, Italy, France, Greece)
2. New Zealand
3. South Africa

Ideally, our honeymoon will be filled with beaches/swimming and hiking. Luxury stays not necessary, but hostels aren't really our vision for this trip.

We'll fly out of Denver (DIA) but need to fly back to Omaha (OMA), which may make things more costly…

Additional context: We're opening a new credit card for wedding purchases to get some flight miles and we're open to using platforms like Skiplagged to save a few $$$!
