Advice needed – we’re indecisive and cannot agree!

Hi! We are getting married in December and looking to honeymoon either in March 2026 or Summer 2026. We are hoping to spend no more than $10k, but hopefully keep it in the $6-8k zone. We cannot agree on what to do and need your help and advice!

My fiance and I do not travel a ton, but when we do we tend to visit cities with a lot of great food, drink, and culture. We have not typically been super beachy people, but are curious for something that has a balance of a relaxing resort vibe with a more active side.

Here are some of the options we've discussed and our hesitations:

  • Mediterranean Cruise: I have never done a cruise and my fiancé is convinced I will hate it. I don't love crowds and buffet lines lol, but I have heard great things about Virgin Voyages. I am curious about Italy and Greece as destinations, and this option seems to offer a balance of relaxing and fun activities. My fiancé doesn't seem super enthusiastic about a cruise.
  • European Destinations: Either Italy, Greece, or bouncing from 2-3 spots. I'd love to do 8-10 days in Italy and visit a few different cities, but it seems that is more planning and would be potentially more stressful logistically.
  • All Inclusive Resort: We are considering just doing an all-inclusive resort – literally anywhere – Caribbean, Mexico, or maybe somewhere in Europe, just to have the chance to relax and do nothing. I think I will be bored in 2 days, but this is what my fiancé seems most enthusiastic about.
  • Something completely different: I don't know, New Zealand? Baltic Cruise? Alaskan trek? Who knows?

This biggest challenge is my fiancé doesn't swim, so water-based activities like snorkeling or swimming with sharks feels more difficult. We are not super active in-shape folks, so big hikes are sort of not the vibe.

Any help, advice, feedback would be so helpful. We just don't know where to start.
