All-Inclusive DR honeymoon options

My fiancé (F, 27) and I (M, 30) are getting married in April 2025, and were wanted to go to Saint Lucia for our honeymoon. But since we are only doing 5 days/4 nights, we are seeing Saint Lucia might be a lot in terms of travel time and prices. As a result, we are looking into the Dominican Republic. We have been to to Sandals resorts, and really enjoyed ourselves. We want an all-inclusive, adults only resort. We are not “party people,” but we do enjoy a resort that has some entertainment or activities. We are also looking to relax by a pool or beach (definitely want a resort that has both), and while we intend to spend most of our time relaxing, we are looking forward to doing some excursions, exploring the island, etc. We were hoping to stay under $5000, if possible. We realize that doesn’t give us the most “luxurious” budget, but hoping to still have a great experience with a decent amount of amenities. Also, We would be going April 14-18 more than likely. We were looking at Sanctuary Cap Cana, Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana, or Excellence Punta Cana.

We were wondering if anyone had any experience with those resorts (or could recommend another one if you have experience with any others that you loved), any suggestions on excursions, places to go, general tips, etc.
