All Inclusives with "Swim Out" Suites

Hi! My fiance and I are looking to do a 5 night honeymoon November 25-30, 2019. Neither of us have ever been to a resort before. While doing some research, we learned about "swim out" suites, which are rooms with a pool right outside your door, off the patio. Now that we know this exists… we're kind of obsessed with the idea.

Has anyone here stayed in a swim-out room before? Was it worth the extra cost? We are specifically looking at Secrets Maroma and Secrets Akumal right now, because they seem to be the most affordable places with this type of suite. Has anyone stayed at either of these resorts? Or, if you've stayed somewhere else with a swim out room, could you share where, and your opinion of it? Thanks!
